We are missing St. Pete:( It was pouring down rain here this morning so we really couldn't take Sofia and go out. By the time it cleared up(and started snowing instead of raining) our coordinator couldn't take us to Red Square. We were advised not to try it on our own. So, we hung out in the hotel room and had a good nap. This evening we went down to one of the restaurants in the hotel. The presentation was as rich as the prices. Good food though and they gave Sof a little toy!
Tomorrow we will complete the last of our paperwork before heading home! Two more sleeps and I will have all my girls under the same roof! That makes for sweet dreams:)
awwww, I'm sorry you didn't get to see Red Square? I wonder why they told you not to go? I know that it is closed on Thursday (Kremlin), but you can still see St. Basils and walk around GUM, it is huge and nice! What about a walk along Arabat Street? Sorry the weather didn't cooperate. The Embassy isn't really that long/hard, maybe after they can drive you or take you to St. Basils. It is an easy walk also, use the stroller, and use the underground walks to cross the streets, too dangerous otherwise.
ReplyDeleteI know you will be so excited to FINALLY be going home FOREVER!!!! We could not wait to get on the plane to get home! I can only imagine the excitement of knowing that your family will all be together in just a few short days!!! The Embassy in Moscow is easy-breezy! YAY for almost being done!!!!
