We had our 3rd annual adults only up north trip. It’s a weekend we look forward to every year. This particular weekend was planned well in advance with no way to know that it would fall during a life changing time. Just before we left, Mark decided to leave his business. There were many reasons and considerations, but it was not a particularly well thought through move. It happened with an emotional, rash decision. I had faith that it would work out, and that we would be better for it on the other side, but I want to note for memories sake that the pictures of this weekend do not show the reality of what was going on. Regardless, there was no better place for us to be and no better people to be with.
We rolled into town on Friday and hit our favorite spot “Little Fleet”.
Mike provided the usual entertainment.
The next morning Mike and Mark went on a little motorcycle ride. Mark had taken a class to learn more about riding because Mike had an extra bike just begging to ridden.
Then we spent the day hopping around to our favorite breweries.
I’m already looking forward to next year’s weekend. I’m behind enough on my blogging to know that everything turns out alright and this fall will be another awesome time!
