So we’ve arrived at October. Since it’s actually June when I’m writing this, I have to look back at the pictures to remember what happened, LOL. September was busy and didn’t leave time for Friday or Saturday night hang outs. So it’s always an awesome day when we can make it happen!
Lexi and Livy went to the football game and got caught in the rain!
I did the coolest thing. I went to a care package party. Everyone that came had to bring 30 of an item. All the items were laid on a long table. We decorated boxes, and went around and wrote messages on each kid’s box. Then we took one of each item and filled the care package! It was so fun, and Adrienne really loved receiving it!
School mornings with my cutie.
Unicorns were all the rage this year, as was sequin changing shirts.
She happily wore a Gymboree outfit for picture day, which probably won’t happen again. She’s getting so big!
She had the annual color fun run at school. It’s a mess, but the kids love it!
We had a lazy morning with Adrienne home and Livy sleeping over.
We finally made it to the apple orchard, but not in our jeans!
We still had Girl’s on the Run. We were training hard to be ready for a 5K the next month.
Adrienne and her roommate went to dance performance as part of one of their classes.
She also decided to get a fish. Only problem is when she got it back to the dorm, she found out it was actually a baby shark that could grow to 3-5 feet. Soooooo, she decided she better find a different home for it. Unfortunately, it died before it could be relocated. Hopefully some lessons were learned there.
School mornings started looking more like fall. There was finally a little chill in the air.
There were still some beautiful days later in October though!
Sof had a fall fair at school. She had a blast with her buddies. We went back to John and Jill’s afterwards and kept the kids up too late!
We had a fun night out with our bowling group at the dueling pianos.
We also had a night out with Em and Steve while the kiddos hung out at their house.
Adrienne was quite happy to see the weather cool down.
Unfortunately, it cooled down right around the time she joined the sailing team and ended up in the lake on her first outing.
It didn’t discourage her though!
We received some cards from our girls in Sri Lanka thanking us for the preceding school year’s skype sessions.
And finally, one of the big milestones of the month was Lexi getting her braces off! Her teeth look fantastic! A much awaited appointment!
