We had two very different spring breaks happening simultaneously. Adrienne’s…
And ours…
We had a lot of fun, but not quite the fun that she had. For most of the year we thought she wasn’t going to go on a senior spring break trip. Then an opportunity came up for her to go with her very good friend’s family, and we took it. I’m glad she went, she’ll always have the memories!
Early morning at the airport.
I hope Punta Cana is ready for this madness! There was tons of kids and parents in their group all heading to the same resort. I’m kinda sad I didn’t get to go, but so thankful Adrienne was able to.
It looks okay, but all that sand and sunscreen, ugh, who wants to deal with that??
Meanwhile, we were really living it up. Lucky for us Home Depot had their craft morning to start our break off.
The weather was not exactly ideal, so a movie is always a good option!
Allie and Sof started texting on their iPads and I’m afraid.
We had an afternoon visit to Lucky’s.
We brought cupcakes to Grandpa Culley’s for his birthday! 82 years for him.
We celebrated Natalie’s birthday with painting pottery and then dinner and dessert at Em’s house.
Speaking of birthdays…Oma turned 90. So we were off to Grand Rapids for her party. Lexi had a gift certificate to Sephora from Christmas, so while she was getting a make over Livy, Sof and I went to Tropical Smoothie.
Oma looks amazing, it’s really hard to believe she’s 90!
Believe it or not, we ended the last day of break with another birthday party…Allie’s!
Spring break was fun and busy for all of us! By the end of it the sun and warm temps visited us at home which made us almost forget that we didn’t all travel to the tropics!
