Lexi turned 15. Wait, whaaat??
It just so happened that her team building event for cheer was scheduled on her birthday. Perfect way to celebrate!
In the evening Lexi decided to have a couple of her closest friends over to go out to dinner and spend the night.
Lexi picks the most lovely friends. I just adore them and hope they stay together. In fact, what you can’t see in the pictures is on the other end of the table is her friend’s parents having dinner with us!
Her day was fantastic and well celebrated, but it’s never complete without the cousins. So the next day we indulged suffered through another dessert to celebrate with them!
This has been a big year. Starting high school, making hard choices about her extracurricular activities, and learning to advocate for what she wants. I couldn’t be prouder of how she’s handled this all.
You continue to be the kindest, most thoughtful sister and daughter anyone could ask for. You are my right hand wo-man. You can never go away to college because Sof and I will fall apart! The world is a better place with you in it. We love you so much Lexi-Lou.
