One of our favorite cheer competitions is always Indianapolis. It’s a great city and always tons of fun! We arrived on Friday, and Sof didn’t waste any time getting ready to swim!
We went to check out the venue and ran into some of our buddies. The girls were just a tad excited!
Our schedule ended up really great this year. The girls didn’t compete until later afternoon, which meant we had most of the day to go exploring! We walked around dowtown and found lunch. The weather was incredible for a January weekend!
This competition requires each team to do their routine twice, once on Saturday and once on Sunday. Everyone was pumped for the first day!
We love this team! Such good friends in the kids and parents.
They had a good first performance! We bolted out of there right away to make our dinner reservations(the part that we’re really passionate about for the weekend). A gazillion kids and some grown ups at a restaurant I couldn’t tell you the name of now.
You can’t go to bed without a swim!
Unfortunately this fell on the same weekend as Adrienne’s first dance convention and competition. Fortunately my sis was there with her and they live streamed the comp so I was able to watch it!
The next day we had another nice long morning/afternoon before competing, so we headed out to the Children’s Museum. So fun! This is a great place! And the fact that it was warm enough for knee socks and no coats in January didn’t hurt either!
Then it was time to compete again! We really made the most of our time here!
Another great performance by our girls, and then all that was left was a late night drive home. Until next year…
