Easter Weekend

Finally, I'm getting a chance to post from our weekend! Anne and Rick's daughter Joni came in from Colorado. Such a treat! She has been following our adoption story and supporting us from afar, so it was special for her to finally meet Sof in person. They were instant buds!

Cheers!

We hung out and celebrated Kaitlyn's birthday on Friday. She turned 5 on Thursday!! I can't believe she's going to Kindergarten next year!

I even let Sofie have ice cream, and of course there were presents!

Easter morning was a little crazy. Adrienne had just gotten in from LA the night before so I didn't make her get up early. The little two I made get up and dressed for church before they hunted eggs and looked in their baskets. Consequently, Adrienne seriously messed up the color scheme for pictures! Nevertheless, Sofie thought collecting eggs was great fun! We went to church and had family for dinner.

Sofie was lovin' this holiday when she got to eat cookies for breakfast IN the living room!!

Emily and I were a little late with coloring eggs, so we did them that afternoon! I really hate that idea anyway. Who thought of wasting a bunch of eggs letting kids put them in dye in the house???

Happy Easter!
