We had one week before school technically started, but we spent it getting ready anyway! Sof was a big help getting Lexi registered and setting up her locker(hee hee).
Sof’s Daisy troop got together for pizza in the park. Her troop leader had the girls sit at tables according to their new teacher. All of these girlies ended up together!
This is what Adrienne was working on in the driveway. The flower is made out of paint samples from the hardware store. I’m in love with it! Too bad she made it for a friend going away to college:(
That time your 16 year old burns your sister so bad you’re sore from laughing the next day.
We finally got our Skype sessions going with our loves in Sri Lanka. How lucky we are to have this relationship through modern technology<3
We made a trip into Kzoo to see Grandma before school started. Our time with her is fewer and farther between so we try to look for open days to visit.
September brings back our morning photos of Sof. Rejoice! Cuteness resumes!
Matching by accident!
Patriotic for 9/11
So proud of her locker!
She was happy to pose each morning…until she wasn’t.
And then she was…
But then she wasn’t.
So Sof went to school dressed adorable everyday. We did other things too though.
Like go to a Zac Brown Band concert. Awesome time with the big girls!
Lexi’s first concert!
We also took advantage of a beautiful Sunday to try out a ropes course near us. It’s one of my favorite days with all of us. Everyone had so much fun!
The weather was so nice our pool stayed open until September 21 and we used it!
We went to one of Howell’s games to see Audrey in the band and Abbie cheer.
Sometime oldies are goodies:)
We spent two days at the fair this year. The kids love it, and it only comes once a year! The first day we met Allie there, and Lexi brought a friend.
The little girls got brave and joined the big girls on some rides!
Then they got braver and rode themselves!
The next day we met Em and the girls there. At first Sof hung with Natalie. Which is how it should be…our babies together.
Then all of the sudden Kaitlyn said she could ride with her and before I knew it she was getting on a ferris wheel that required a cage.
She loved it.
Sof saw one of her friends from class last year. She was so excited! We loved this little girl, but she moved to a private school this year. They had fun riding together the rest of the day!
Turned into an expensive weekend, but well worth it. We shut the place down!
