Easter

Easter was different this year.  We didn’t go to church, which seems very wrong, and yet it felt right for this year.  We have been busier than most years(which is no excuse) and we’d spent a lot time celebrating other things with family.  Easter felt like the right day to scale it back and just let it roll out slowly with the 5 of us.

We didn’t rush anything, but egg hunting still happened earlier than Adrienne would have liked.

Sof has been most excited for this holiday versus others.  This is due to her current obsession with candy and eggs with stuff in them!

Sof and Lexi received a joint gift from the Easter bunny.  Lexi spent 4 hours putting it together while Sof played and the rest of us did our thang.

Later on we did have Mark’s dad over for dinner.  It was a quiet, pleasant day for sure!
