We packed a bunch of stuff into the holiday weekend. We started in Traverse with Mike and Alison, Darryl and Courtney, and Em and the girls(Steve had to work).
Traverse is all about the drinks. Coffee for Adrienne and cocktails for us.
It was a beautiful night to be outside. Darryl took the kids for a ride on the tractor. They were pretty pumped about that.
We didn’t bring the boat with us, which ended up to be a blessing. It opened up the opportunity to do other things. We took a hike at Sleeping Bear Dunes. It wasn’t far, but just far enough. The littles made it, and it was a really fun experience.
No matter how small the hike, ice cream is required after.
We caught another amazing sunset.
We headed home the next day so we could hit up Liz and Scott’s BBQ. The kids can’t get enough of their pool!
The next day was actually the 4th. We went to Anne and Rick’s for another BBQ.
Let’s be honest, we’re here for the babies.
The neighbor graciously let the kids swim. Natalie had just started getting comfortable with the water, and was eager to show her skills!
Go Natty! No better day to declare your independence from floaties.
