This weekend we had our annual Christmas with Klimeks. It was Aunt Sally and Uncle Erik’s turn to host, and they do it up right! When they decorate they decorate every square inch of their house. I give them a lot of credit. It’s a lot of work, and I’ll readily admit I’m too lazy for that. Plus my kids would have the place wrecked anyway. They do a beautiful job though!
There were treats eye level for little ones, and they indulged right away.
Those little cupcake wrappers were a cute idea for the caramel corn, but Natty really could have just had the bag. She couldn’t get them in her mouth fast enough! Long after we cut the girls off of treats, they sent Sof to sneak a few chocolate covered pretzels. Busted!
We’re girl heavy in this group!
The guys don’t stand a chance!
The ones who started it all…
From just 4 to this…
We had an amazing meal like usual. Ryan deep fried a pork loin.
We gathered to say grace and give thanks before the meal.
After dinner we always a play a game of LCR. If you don’t know about LCR, it’s played with dice and 3 one dollar bills each. With 15 people the winner gets $45! Aunt Sally walked away with the cash this time!
The Grandma’s do a gift for each kid. This year was a sweet little jewelry box with their name on it.
Good times with good friends goes so fast. Seems like you just get there and you’re saying good bye. Now onto another busy week!
