It seems we have been on hyper speed these past few months. It’s wearing on me, I don’t like it. It seems we are just getting through life rather than living it. Thanksgiving is coming and I’m mostly thankful that I didn’t forget, misplace, or lose a child this month. Life is about seasons and we’ve been in a busy one. Now it’s time to settle in for a long winter’s nap(aka crafting, baking, and spending time with cousins). A nice light snowfall would help set the scene. Hint, hint mother nature!
In the meantime we made it through another week.
This poor girl spends so much time in the car! There’s another thing I’m thankful for…snacks and car videos. What did we do without video in the car? In my day you had to sit for hours with no TV to watch, barefoot and sweating with no air!
Girlfriend doesn’t like pig tails. Mama does. Guess who wins?
Em’s birthday was last week. We swore we didn’t have time to get together, but we made time anyway. It was a quick cupcakes and kisses and we were off!
Adrienne opened some of her gifts. Curling wand, straightening iron, and makeup were her desires!(actually she wants an iPhone but she had to keep her room and bathroom clean, we’ll re-evaluate at Christmas:)
Sof and Lexi also gave her the gifts they had so carefully picked out.
Adrienne finished up her play this weekend. On Saturday we all went to see her. We made it a date with dinner first.
The show was amazing like usual. Mark was so impressed, Lexi wanted to see it again, and Sof loved it!
Adrienne’s drama teacher, and all time favorite, came to see the show as well.
Even though the play was amazing, we’re glad to move on from it. It was consuming our life! Now we are ready to eat, relax, and enjoy the holiday break(after Adrienne finishes her parade performance downtown!).
